Glitter tornado nail art with OPI Color Paints

Glittahhh!!! I recently bought a mini set of the new OPI color paints and I'm totally in love with them :D The colors are vivid, they blend well and they are not at all goopy like the sheer tints (which I still love too). Ofcourse I had to try out some nail art with them over glitter! Click to see more!

Freehand forest sprites nail art

Forest sprites! Don't worry, they're good creatures. They only come out when it's dark, because it's at the darkest times that their light shines the brightest. I had this nail art idea a while back but it took some time to get it to take form, something I could paint. There's a video tutorial too so click to see more!

Fuzzy pink teddy bear nail art

Bear hugs for all of you!!! My bestest of nail friends Marlein made a little bear like this a while ago and I thought it was SO adorable! I had to make a little bear of my own, only... his head turned out kind of pointy! We still love people with pointy heads though so why not bears ;-) Click to see more!

Mosaic nail art with hidden message

Mosaic nail art with a message... how creepy is that?! I had the general idea in mind and before I knew it, I had the base gradient done and I hadn't come up with a decent text to use yet.... so it became 'I'm in your mind'. Hope you aren't too freaked out, there's a video tutorial to make up for it! Click to see more!

Rainbow soot sprites nail art

Hello my lovely ladies! I'm writing this blog post in the searing summer heat so I will keep it short and simple. I loved those little soot sprites from Spirited Away & My Neighbor Totoro, so I figured hey, why not make 'em rainbow colored? They don't really look like soot sprites anymore but they are cute! Click to see more!

A guide to the ultimate smooth gradient (video with voiceover)

You know, you really don't need Photoshop to get a gradient to look nice. Have you tried making a smooth gradient just like those awesome nail bloggers do, but failed? Have you ended up with weird patches, bald spots, or even bits of sponge sticking to your nail? I sound like a brochure right now but go with it for a bit... I will teach you all of my tips & tricks to get your gradient to look REALLY nice, and to solve all of the above mentioned problems before they even arise.

In the video, I'm using:
- OPI Alpine Snow as a white base
- HK Girl top coat from Glisten & Glow
- Flat brush from eBay
- Essence nail polish remover
- Liquid Palisade from Kiesque
- Makeup sponge from Ici Paris XL
- Piece of scotch tape
- A whole bunch of Serum No. 5 polishes
- Small brush

All will be explained in the video tutorial below. By the way, the accent you're hearing is Dutch because I'm from the Netherlands :) Have fun watching and let me know if you have any questions!
