Falling rose petals nail art

Spreading the looooove! Because if you have some to spare, why not share?

Magical, magical Serum No. 5 <3 I will never get over these glow polishes! I used Raspberry Delight, Atomic Peach and Solar Power in a gradient, and a dot of Day Glow for the windows of the houses.

The shiny shifty air balloon is made with Madam Glam Perfect Black, slathered in Mirage powder from What's Up Nails. It turned out so perfect!

The rose petals are 3D too. I used Madam Glam Sangria for it which provided the 3D rise as well as the perfect outline color for the petals after I added acrylic paint to them. The rest of the design is painted with acrylic paint as well.

I received all of the polishes in this article as a press sample. Opinions expressed are 100% my own and not influenced in any way other than the quality of the product itself.

Looking out at the sunrise nail art

Overlooking the sunset, what could be more romantic? Yeah okay I can think of a few things...

If it's a dog, cat or something more legendary, I'll leave that up to you ;-)

The base (and the silhouette) is made with acrylic paint, I love this technique! I applied some Aurora powder from What's Up Nails over it but I think this powder would be better at home over a darker color. I'll be sure to use it again soon so I can show you!

Glitter bug nail art

I have a soft spot for insects... well actually for all animals, but more than 4 legs don't scare me off :-p I keep painting them in my nail art and the 3D-ness of this one makes it even more awesome!

The delicate base is A England Symphony in Green and Gold that I got from Color4Nails. It's exquisite!

I painted the scenery with acrylic paint, and only painted the bug without filling it its shield. I mixed some Tealquila glitter from TwinkledT with clear 3D sculpting gel. Such a cool effect!!!

Artistic Nail Design Fueled and Furious swatches & review

Are you as ready for fall as I am? I don't know what it is, the weather or my insatiable lust for all things spooky and Halloween-y. I'm just so ready for warm knitted sweaters, cute boots and coming home from the cold to cuddle up on the couch with a blanket and a cup of tea. Even my taste in color is drifting towards the moodier fall/winter shades so this new Fueled and Furious collection from Artistic Nail Design is firing up my engine and pushing me into overdrive!

There are 6 shades in the collection and I swatched the 4 creme shades for you. All of these polishes are smooth, shiny, easy to apply and remove and just downright gorgeous. Plus they come with a wide brush that makes it really easy to get those nice crisp lines at the cuticle. Remember, all of them are available both in gel (called Color Gloss) and regular air drying polish (called Color Revolution). Enough stalling! Let's get to the pics!

Crabby nail art

Why am I feeling crabby?? I have to stop being so shellfish. Ghehehehehe XD

I used the gorgeous Picture Polish Clouds (I got this from Color4Nails) as a base and put some What's Up Nails Sapphire Confetti (round glitter, yay!) on top of that with the help of my Masura Vitamin Top gel top coat.

I painted a crab and some of his living environment with acrylic paint, then finished it off with a matte top coat. I think it's so cute and colorful, it can go straight into a kid's room!

Swimming dog nail art

Rrrrrrruf! Here's a funky little Jack Russel barking at you from the swimming pool!

He's just floating around in his inner tube, relaxing and enjoying the sun <3

I made a cooooool base using Picture Polish Surf and Mermaid that I got from Color4Nails. On top of that, I painted my doggy with acrylic paint!

Waterfront nail art

There's a small lake near my house where I walk almost every day, and it's GORGEOUS. I always wonder what's happening under the surface of the water though. I know it's just the koi fish, but in my mind I'll always wonder what mythical creature might be living there :-p

I'm wearing a base of What's Up Nails Ocean and Rainforest, two gorgeous pigment powders that are super reflective! On top of that, I added some scenery with acrylic paint. I hope you like it!

Juicy watermelon nail art

It's juicy. It's delicious. It's.... watermelon!!!

Another summer symbol for me :) I used MooMoo's Signatures Blushing Akito, Bells of Ireland & Seafoam Daisy for this delicious watermelon design. I also used black & white acrylic paint for the seeds, some green paint for the outside of the watermelon and Young Nails clear 3D sculpting gel to add the juice!

This one is SO bright and perfect for summer!

Negative space chrome feathers nail art

OK so you know how sometimes there's a sparrowhawk in your neighborhood and you keep finding plucked bird feathers? This nail art design is not an ode to that XD

Eek! Nekkid nails! I was inspired by a design by @nailsbykarise and hers look SO much better than mine!

I made the feathers using Madam Glam Perfect Black as a base for the shapes, then added What's Up Nails Suntan powder for the chrome effect, and finished it off with some acrylic paint.

The black base for the other 2 nails is also Perfect Black, and if you're tempted to place an order with Madam Glam (really, you should), please feel free to use my (non-affiliate) code NAR30 for 30% off. No strings attached ;-)

The freakingly gorgeous multichrome flakies are the Tropic Flakies from What's Up Nails. Delicious.

Glitter sunflower nail art

It's August already, can you believe it?? The ultimate summer symbol, for me, is the sunflower!

My beautiful sky blue base is A England Symhony in Blue & Silver that I got from Color4Nails. I painted the sunflowers with acrylic paint and added a dollop of glitter at the heart of each flower, as if there are real seeds in them. For this, I used a mix of two TwinkledT glitters: Holondaise Sauce (a gold holo glitter) and Holo is the New Black (a black glitter with a more subtle holo sparkle).

And so, glitter sunflowers were born! What's your ultimate summer symbol?

I received A England Symphony in Blue & Silver and TwinkledT Holondaise Sauce & Holo is the New Black loose glitters as a press sample. Opinions expressed are 100% my own and not influenced in any way other than the quality of the product itself.
