3D troll dolls nail art

Do you remember those little troll dolls that were all the rage in the 60's and then again in the 90's? Here's the crazy 3D nail art version of them! The hairs were a little iffy for me because I want my designs to be cool and clean, not 'ew' worthy. But they turned out cute enough to share, so voilá! And ofcourse there's a video too. Click to see more!

The black base is Azature Charcoal Diamond. I found some pieces of plush fabric in the craft room so I found polishes that corresponded with these colors, and I chose China Glaze Yellow Polka Dot Bikini and Serum No. 5 Blue Blazes, Laven-daringly Bright and Infrared. The trolls themselves are made with acrylic paint. I wish I'd had something better to do the eyes with!

To make the crazy hair, I cut the fibers loose from the plush fabric, and applied them to the nail using nail foil glue. That's glue that turns super sticky when it's dry, so I was able to just stick the fibers to the nail, press, and cut them into shape.

I received Azature Charcoal Diamond & Serum No 5 Infrared as a press sample for an honest review. Opinions expressed are 100% my own and not influenced in any way other than the quality of the product itself.
