Rose alley nail art

Sooo my crazy friend @herrmham had a cool idea, and it led to me painting another bit of super detailed freehand nail art, a cobblestone alley with roses and plants and a terrace and stuff. I started out hating it but I ended up really liking it. And ofcourse I went somewhere today and nobody even looked at my nails. Click to see more!

She found a picture on this Instagram account and invited some of her favorite nail artists to recreate it with her! She started the hashtag #littlenailartgallery for anyone who wants to join, so if you think you're up for it, feel free!

I felt SO nervous about this challenge and I kept putting it off! I knew who else would be participating and I knew theirs would beat mine by a long shot (and they did btw, super awesome work!). The ladies who ended up posting their work today are both @herrmham and @_lastrega who really grabbed this challenge with both hands and gave it all they had. Check out the collage!
My process went kind of like this:
Deep breath, I'm just going to start.
    This sucks.
Oh man what am I doing?!
Hey that looks kinda nice.
What is that supposed to be?!
            Ooh I'm nailing it!
                                         This is awesome!
     Whoops I ruined it.
Okay let's just add some roses and call it done.

And also, I've included pics of my process so maybe you can learn from it. I've had to watermark them even more because people were stealing my pictures and saying they painted it. Which, if you think about it, is actually really dumb because it wasn't even finished yet.
