The secret life of rats

Let me share with you a little piece of my personal life! I've been a rat mom for years and years and I love their unique personalities, how trusting they can be and the way they make me laugh every. Single. Day.

My two stars are Mercurius (the shiny black dude) and Montgomery (the little curly haired boy). They are almost a year old and just the best little fur babies you could wish for!

I haven't blogged about my ratties in a looooong time but you can see some of my other boys here and here. There's also more videos on my personal YouTube channel.

Happy Halloween nail art - HPB linkup

Jack-O-Lanterns are such wimps, they have no GUTS! My nail art design is completely inspired by Just Nail It Peru who has MAD freehand skills. I used glow in the dark polish for an added effect though so mine lights up! And I made a video tutorial! Click to see more!

Creepy haunted woods nail art for Halloween

Do you know what's lurking in the dark woods when you walk home at night? You may not see these ghosts at first but then UV light hits them and BAM! Instant creepiness! It's all made possible by SuperChic Lacquer Marvel-Star, which is a UV top coat that's invisible in normal light but lights up when it's exposed to a black light. Click to see more!

Haunted graveyard nail art, glowy ghosts

Waaaay back in high school, in music class, our teacher taught us to form a mental image from the music we were hearing. I've always had a couple of images in my head when listening to Dance Macabre and this is one of them! As soon as the sun sets, the dead come out to play. In this example they're ghosts but maybe you see them differently! I dare you to paint what's in your head and then come show me!
