Winter will not leave here in the Netherlands! I'm ready for spring, but it's still so cold and it was snowing again today. I get my inspiration for my nail art from the world around me, so here is some more winter themed nail art.
My tree looks like it's fainting! But it's okay, he survived just fine :p The tree on my left hand looks even worse... Nail fails, even partial ones, always make me smile!
I really like how my layer of OPI Pirouette my Whistle resembles falling snow. It turned out pretty, despite my tree being a bit weak (let's just call it very bendy :-p).
Happy two-days-after-Valentine's-Day! I hope everyone had a lovely V-day, with lots of gifts and of course a good time with your honeys (yeah, I'm including family and friends). I didn't get a chance to post these earlier, so here they are! Four of my nail art designs for Valentine's Day.
And that's them! I like the hearts and kisses best (2nd & 3rd), because they're just so sweet and cute :D And if any of you were wondering, I sent a card to my boyfriend for V-day. It's completely our style and it makes a set with the card I sent last year. My mom had a present for me and she started making me curious two weeks before, so I arranged a cute gift for her, too. She was so surprised, it was awesome!
I've got something awesome to show you today! By now, you all know how much I love themed nail art. I love painting for a certain occasion, so I kinda went all happy-shiny when I started thinking of nail designs for a werewolves themed game night. I made some sketches and came up with my very own design!
I love the starry night (the glitters made the stars twinkle perfectly) and the misty ground.
One of my friends got married! Actually married :D She looked BEAUTIFUL and I'm really jealous in a positive way :) She's been with her boyfriend (now husband) for over 8 years and they're so pretty together. I'm really proud of her!
Anyway, I was invited and I can't help but match my nails to my outfit. I was wearing a hot pink skirt so I chose the same shade for my nails. Her biggest wish for her wedding was to have snow, and her wish came true! It made it kinda cold for me in my heels and skirt, but she got her snowy dream wedding and I had a theme for my nails.
I'm sorry for the terrible chip and the tipwear, I only got time for pics after 3 days because boyfriend was staying over. He went with me to the wedding and it was SO romantic!
I stamped the snowflakes using plate HB23. The glitters are Sally Hansen Lady Luck!
