Rainbow uni-cone nail art

It's a rainbow uni-cone! Anything with a single horn can be a magical unicorn, right?

I used Blushing Akito, April Moon, Seafoam Daisy, Forget-Me-Not, Ocean Song from the Rainbow Flowers Bath collection by MooMoo's Signatures for the base gradient. It's so sweet and smooth!!

I painted the ice cream with acrylic paint and my Fine Lines brush set from Winstonia, but the scoop was harder to paint than I had anticipated. I wanted the colors to blend into eachother smoothly, and that took a couple of coats & tries. Worked out in the end though!

Red headed cat lady nail art

"While the rest of the species is descended from apes, redheads are descended from cats." - Mark Twain

For the base, I used Different Dimension Unearthly that I got from Color4Nails and let me tell you, it really is other wordly. My pictures cannot do this polish justice! It really suits the girl's red hair <3 She is painted with acrylic paint and my Roubloff 00 detail brush from Adnails Manucure.
See these holo 'shards'? I don't know what else to call them. These might be my favorite finish of all the polishes, except for glow in the dark ofcourse.

Fresh peonies nail art

Get on your trampolines because it is springtime!!! Haha... ha... hahaha....

For the background, I did a squishy thing with the TwinkledT clear smushy stamper and three polishes: MooMoo's Signatures Seafoam Daisy, Bells of Ireland & April Moon. The effect was a little more subtle than what I initially had in mind, but it works for me! And smushing stuff is weirdly satisfying :-p

The peonies were painted with acrylic paint and my Roubloff 00 detail brush from Adnails Manucure.

Negative space brush nail art

I don't think this is how you're supposed to apply nail polish... XD Negative space in a new way!

A little change in how the light hits it and WOW! Totally different color! This mega gorgeous color shifting polish is Emily de Molly A Step To Climb which I got from Color4Nails. It even flashes green at other (harder to photograph) angles!
I'm so in love with this polish <3 I achieved the negative space look by using Masura Cuticle Defender. The brush... is painted with a brush! And also acrylic paint :-p

Romantic blossom nail art

GAH I'm such a sucker for romance! I might be hopelessly and forever alone but I still love to read about it, watch it on tv and see my friends fall in love (and one of 'em is getting married soon!)

This gorgeous soft base color is Ocean Song from MooMoo's Signatures. It's a great color for spring, and though it might seem like pink, it's actually a more pink leaning lavender. You'll see it when you see it in a lineup with the rest of the collection :) They are like potato chips, or pet rats: you can't have just one! XD

Sunshine bunny nail art

Wow, he turned out kind of creepy looking, didn't he? Like stalker bunny who peeps through your window at night. Watching you watch tv. Secretly stealing your carrots. Not to eat them, just to put them on the shrine he's made of you. Hahaha I might be getting carried away here XD

I painted the whole thing with acrylic paint. The background was enjoyable, but the bunny.... that almost drove me insane! I had to sleep on it a night (and that means actually sleeping on it since it's attached to my body LOL) and when I came back to it in the morning, at least I had steadier hands to paint the face. It's still not nearly as fluffy looking as I would have wanted. But it's done!

Zombie Easter egg nail art

When good eggs go bad.... This Easter nail art 'cracks' me up!!!!

These were made with MooMoo's Signatures April Moon, Bells of Ireland, Forget-Me-Not and Blushing Akito as the base for each egg, and I painted the faces with acrylic paint. I also added some green goo coming from the zombie's head using Serum No. 5 Krypton-brite!
Aaaaand they glow under a blacklight! Note: they glow with UV light, NOT in the dark. Look at that green react though! Makes the zombie a whole lot scarier!

Watermarble Easter chick nail art

How can two things be so equally sickeningly sweet? Also, little happy dance for FINALLY being able to watermarble!

Can you say 'd'awwww'? From up close you can see that it's hand painted, but I was asked plenty of times if it was a sticker :-p It was also really enjoyable to paint, I love just sitting on my couch and watching TV while I paint :)
Watermarbling is NOT a walk in the park for me, I've got most of it down but my polish will never spread properly on the water. The Rainbow Flowers Bath collection though, from MooMoo's Signatures..... it worked like a charm! No problem AT ALL getting these polishes to spread and I really enjoyed finally being able to make a half decent looking watermarble design!

Oh and if the photo didn't tell you yet, these pastel neons glow under UV/blacklight :)

Hatching eggs nail art

Springtime is a time for happiness, fun, and.... a little ridiculousness :-p This is eggs-actly what we need!

Haaaaahahahaha those legs XD You know they're not for actual wear, right? This is not really comfortable in daily life so I made them, photographed them and took them off before I poked an eye out :-p

The beautiful pink base caught my eye immediately and it's Takko Lacquer Watermelon Tourmaline, a Color4Nails exclusive polish.

I made the eggs, and the legs, and the beak, with a 3D gel from Madam Glam called 'Sugar'. I gave it a touch of color using Serum No. 5 Orange You Sunny, and a bit of acrylic paint!

Painting Easter eggs nail art

Happy Easter bunny is happy! He'll be so fit after all of this egg-xercise!

I was thinking of painting an egg painting factory, and while trying to figure out the exact design, all of my ideas had bunnies at a conveyor belt in a factory hall. That's not happy though! So I took it outside, Easter style, and this suits me so much more :)

Oh yeah, it's hand painted with acrylic paint and my Roubloff 00 detail brush from Adnails Manucure!
I made a base gradient using MooMoo's Signatures Forget-Me-Not and April Moon (how fitting!), and they glow under UV light! They are the sweetest spring shades and there's lots more designs to come with all 7 of the polishes in the Rainbow Flowers Bath collection!
