Bloody scratches nail art for Halloween

Ouch! Something got me! Did any of you see what it was? Man, this hurts....

Gory Halloween nails are right up my alley :) I'd do them all year round if it didn't scare people so much! Want to find out how to make this bloody nail art design for yourself? There's a video tutorial so click to see more!

This is SO easy to make! All I did was paint my nails white, and before the polish had dried properly, I used my ABC Nailstore dotting tool to draw a 'scratch' and mess up the edges a little bit so they look torn.

All I had to do then was fill up the scratches with acrylic paint using my EF Eclusive 1 & 2 brush (I used the flat brush side because I'm lazy) and then I added some Graftobian fake blood gel to the scratches as well.
The last step is a little bit messier and more complicated. To make the blood spatters, I mixed up my blood gel with some water to make it more fluid. I then dipped an old toothbrush in the mixture, and used a little stick to stroke against the hairs of the toothbrush, making cool spatters. It's kind of hard to determine where the spatters will land so be sure to protect the area against stains!

I received the ABC Nailstore dotting tool & the EF Eclusive 1& 2 brush as press samples from Adnails Manucure. Opinions expressed are 100% my own and not influenced in any way other than the quality of the product itself.
