Fireflies become stars nail art

What if... Timon had it right? That stars really are fireflies that got stuck up in that big blue-ish black thing? I originally made this nail art design for a HPB linkup back in July (yes that's how old this design is) but I eventually went with a more tropical seaside design. But it's here now! I have a video tutorial too so click to see more!

Ooooh yeaaahhh glowies! The fireflies & stars are made with Serum No. 5 Solar Power and I highlighted the glass jar with some Serum No. 5 Guiding Light, because of reflections of the fireflies, you know. The glass would light up a little bit too.
The deep blue holo background polish is Gothic Gala Lacquers Dannie Diesel (this one has been discontinued, sorry!) and I added some holographic stars to the sky with Ellagee Sexy Old Girl.

The rest (the grass & some of the glass jar) is painted with acrylic paint and my Roubloff 00 detail brush.  Acrylic paint and glow polish working together perfectly to make a design whole *happy sigh*
I love how those yellow stars stand out against the dark blue background. The whole design reminds me of summer, even though we don't have fireflies in the Netherlands... awww... I'd love to see them for real some day!

I received Liquid Palisade by Kiesque, Ellagee Sexy Old Girl, Gothic Gala Lacquers Dannie Diesel and Serum No. 5 as a press sample for an honest review. Opinions expressed are 100% my own and not influenced in any way other than the quality of the product itself.
