Freehand woven rainbow pattern nail art

This looks kind of like wraps, doesn't it? It's not though, it's paintstakingly painted :-p And by pain, I mean PAIN. It was fun at first and I like the result but ARGH! Haha and I tortured myself more by recording a video tutorial, so I hope you enjoy it! Click to see more!

I used STYLondon Snow for the base and I'm really enjoying using gel polish, especially as a base for nail art. It's dry in a minute so I can immediately continue with some nail art without waiting for my OPI Alpine Snow to dry!

All of it was painted with acrylic paint and my trusty Roubloff 00 detail brush.
The polish I used for the other two nails is Foxy Paws Polish Cosmic Girl. I chose it because... it just fits, you know? I had the middle two already done, matched some swatch sticks to them and chose Cosmic Girl as the perfect polish to use :D

I can't, repeat I CAN'T recommend painting this. It's horror. I spent two hours on each nail and I'm glad I only had to work on two (or really I switched up the design mid-paint so that I only had two to do) because I would have gone screaming mad otherwise :-p

I received Foxy Paws Polish Cosmic Girl and STYLondon Snow as a press sample. Opinions expressed are 100% my own and not influenced in any way other than the quality of the product itself.
