Pink Gellac Vintage Chic collection swatches & review

Howdy-you do and welcome to a new round of 'look at this polish'! Today we have a super sweet spring collection by Pink Gellac, called the Vintage Chic collection. It certainly does know how to set a style and stick to it in the most delicious way! These are all soak-off gel polishes that apply smoothly and evenly, and cure to a rock hard, long lasting finish under the Pink Gellac LED lamp. There's some cremes, a glitter polish, a shimmer... Let's just jump in and you can see for yourself!

First off we have Peachy Nude, a soft pastel skin color that is unobtrusive and classy. It's a little light for my skin color, but I like it because it makes me look so tan! You're looking at two coats and it's very opaque, which is great for a light shade.

Salmon is a slightly darker color, you might even say it's in the same range as Peachy Nude. The two do go together really well, as if they might be sisters. It's also really smooth and provides great coverage in 2 coats, without streaks. It's a very feminine shade, so lovely!

And now for the party girl!!! Diamond Pink is such a fun twist for this collection, it's a sheer pink base with holo glitter. A single coat as shown below is very sheer and would is amazing when layered over another polish.

Three coats of Diamond Pink can be worn as a standalone polish, which gives it a lot of depth and sparkle due to the sheer base. I LOVE THIS! It looks so much like my favorite polish when I was a kid, but sparklier! It was a Création Lamis polish that I finished a whole bottle of and then missed forever and ever. My heart cannot take the feels!!!

We now take a short recess for a behind the scenes picture:

Aaaaaand we're back! Moving on to Pearly Pink, this takes me back to the 90's. It's not so much a shimmer as I'd call it a frost finish, which was very 'hip' back in the day. The one thing that puts it apart from the usual group of frosts is that there are no brush strokes or drag marks and it applies so, oh so smoothly! A single coat was pretty opaque already, I have very visible nail lines so I opted for adding a second coat.

If you've been looking for the purfect pastel purple, look no more because you've found it. Pastel Purple (I wonder how they come up with these names?) is soft, sweet and delicate, and it's easy to apply without patches or streaks.

Paradise Blue is a hint lighter than the perfect blue color of a tropical ocean. It's brighter in real life than you might expect, it's very sweet and happy. It's a bit teal leaning too, just slightly.

And lastly we have Mint Green, which is.... well.... a mint green polish! It goes really well with all of the other shades in the collection, actually all of them are really suited to eachother. This one is another 2 coats of smoothness, no streaks or anything. So pretty!

That's all of 'em! Which is your favorite? The whole collection is so fresh, sweet and happy, like spring itself! These, and sooooo many more shades, are available from Pink Gellac. You can also follow them on Facebook, Instagram, and YouTube to keep up with new releases and cool promotions.

For now, I bid you farewell and sooper thanks for reading!

I received all of the polishes in this article as a press sample. Opinions expressed are 100% my own and not influenced in any way other than the quality of the product itself.
