Review: Polish Alcoholic Electric Neon

Hey beautiful ladies! I've shared this indie brand Polish Alcoholic a few times before, and Sabrina has asked me to share this little piece of awesome-sauce called Electric Neon with you today!! I love her brand so much, that I'm having a giveaway on Instagram (click here) and I bought two Polish Alcoholic glow in the dark polishes for the prizes, along with some other cool stuffs :D So click to see more!

Electric Neon is a glitter topper with black shreds, black glitter and neon pink glitter in a clear base. It looks great over so many colors, I had a hard time choosing! Ultimately I chose BarryM Blueberry as my first choice. But that wasn't enough for me, as you will see later on... Muahaha! *evil laugh*
There's a lot going on with this polish, it's a bit of a chaos. That part isn't so much to my taste, but I like how it contrasts with the polish underneath. Plus, neon! Because...
It lights up under a blacklight!! Isn't that awesome?? I know a lot of you are just as hooked on glowy things as I am :D
Okay so what I mentioned earlier... I like to do multiple layering combos with a glitter topper, to really show of the different possibilities. Also, the black comes out so much prettier on certain colors, when the pink pops on other colors.

When I was talking with Sabrina about this polish, she said that it would look great on a neon green or neon yellow. So that's what I definitely wanted to show you! I used China Glaze Yellow Polka Dot Bikini, I like this less than the blue actually, but tastes vary so maybe this is completely your style ;-)
And I looove this combo! It's so spacy and retro at the same time, don't you think? Electric Neon pops on silver, in this case Gosh Silver.

I suddenly spotted some bubbles when I was taking pictures with the silver! I had to do some glitter placement by dabbing the brush onto the nail, so that would account for the bubbles. I talked to Sabrina about this and she mentioned that the base needs to 'settle' a bit after mixing. My bottle was super fresh from the press, it only took a day to get to me and I swatched it the same afternoon. So it's not so weird! I expect other bottles to have this problem less, and even not at all when being more careful applying the polish.
Soooo I hope you like it! This polish won't be in the shop for a while, it's part of the summer collection along with a couple of other great glitters (I got a sneak peek)! In the mean time, check out the Polish Alcoholic shop for more awesomeness, or stalk her Twitter, Facebook and Instagram to keep up to speed on those summer polishes!

Also, don't forget about the giveaway! I'm co-hosting with my polish pal @creatinails so you'd have the chance to win one out of two prizes, with only one entry :D It's open worldwide too!

I received Polish Alcoholic Electric Neon as a press sample for an honest review. Opinions expressed are 100% my own and not influenced in any way other than the quality of the product itself.
