May flowers nail art - HPB Linkup

I don't usually do flowers... They get painted so often, usually by people much better at them than I am. But the theme for this month's HPB linkup is 'May flowers' so here they are! There's some tiny lines in this design but I have a video tutorial if you want to see how it's made. Click to see more!

I'm in a Facebook group called Hobby Polish Bloggers and we're all, like the name says, polish bloggers! It's a great group of ladies and we all share our tips about blogging, and we help each other out. We came up with the idea to do monthly link-ups with a specific theme. We've done Halloweenfall favoritesChristmas'New To You' (that one was a BLAST!), Valentine's Day and St. Patrick's Day.
I used OPI Alpine Snow for the base. The rest is just regular craft acrylic paint, my Basic One Gold detail brush from Christrio Scotland and my Roubloff 00 from Adnails Manucure.

After painting these and adding my HK Girl top coat from Glisten&Glow, I thought how cool it would be to have a semi-matte top coat. You know, not high gloss but not completely dead matte either. Like porcelain, or when your matte top coat is wearing down a bit and showing glossier parts. That, but prettier!
