Freehand ant with water drop nail art

Two days ago, I posted a candy nail art design with real sugar, and hordes of people actually asked me about ants attacking the sugar. Here's your answer: the ants are way too busy doing other things! Completely freehand with acrylic paint, and I have a video tutorial for you to enjoy! Click to see more!

I. Forgot. His feelers. How dumb can I be?

I'm actually really fascinated by ants. We have loads of them in the backyard and I can sit and watch one of the little guys make its way from one side of the yard to the other, carrying a dead fly that must be over 10x as big as himself! He takes hurdles and obstructions with grace and precision and he always gets where he needs to be... until the water hose is in the way :-p So I helped him out a little bit!
Before starting this design, I had no idea if it was going to turn out okay. Those are usually the best ones :) The ones that I know are way above my skill level, yet I do them anyways. And lo and behold! I actually think the one in the video tutorial is a little bit better, mostly because I didn't have to chop the water bubble into two halves, but it's actually all on one nail.
