Freehand glass vase nail art

I've been obsessed with painting reflections lately. They're a great challenge and you know I love a good challenge! So here's some glass vase nail art with purple flowers. There's a video tutorial too so click to see more!

There's no deeper meaning behind this design. No life's story. It was just pretty, so I painted it :)

There's this thing I do... During and right after painting something like this, I HATE it. I think it looks awful and I really don't feel like posting it. I show it to two of my nail friends and they tell me it looks really good. Then the next day I look, and it looks a little bit better, at least post-able. And then I let the design simmer for a week, maybe two, before I post it. And suddenly it looks half decent :-p
I used OPI Alpine Snow for the base, as always. I'm boring and predictable *cough cough*

The background was sponged with a piece of makeup sponge & acrylic paint, and I painted the window sil (at least that's what it's supposed to be), the vase & the flowers with acrylic paint and my Roubloff 00 from Adnails Manucure. I topped everything off with a nice glossy coat of HK Girl top coat by Glisten&Glow that I buy in bulk from Hypnotic Polish.
