Indie Polish wants you to Love Yourself!

Hi my sweet ladies! You know, you're all really beautiful and talented. You should say it to yourself more often. You should Love Yourself! Because that's the name of this collection by Indie Polish that I'm showing you swatches of today! Click to read my review!

Indie Polish is the name of the brand that's Canada based and handmade by the lovely Tanya. Usually the bottles are bigger than this though, so don't mind that! I just think minis look so adorable, they have these little midget caps and... okay, moving on :-p

Tanya is SO enthousiastic about her polish, and I love the theme of this collection! It's called Love Yourself because really, that's what you should be doing. Take care of yourself, your body, and your own mental health, because you're worth it! What's that L'Oréal? This line has been beaten to death already? But it's true, because you all have some amazing strength, talent and beauty. Even if you can't see it right now, it's there! This collection is on pre-order right now and will be released on August 10th. That's just a few more nights of sleep, do you think you can manage that?

Bipolar Ain't Nothing

This here's a blue polish (no reeeeally?) and I would describe the shade as a lovely sky blue leaning a bit towards aqua. I'm showing you two coats with two top coats on top for extra smoothness.
With a crelly base, this polish gives that nice glitter visibility that we all love and crave, while still giving us a nice easy coverage that can be achieved in 2 - 3 coats. Now isn't that nice? There's a whole crapload of different glitters in this one, count with me!

First thing that catches my eye is the star glitter. I looooove star glitter. These weren't annoying in any way and they were nicely sunk into the base. There's also large purple hex glitters, you can see one right at the front here. And then some smaller purple and pink hex glitters are in the mix as well, along with some really tiny ones and there's also some square glitters.
And together, they make one cute polish that will make the indie loving world feel proud :)
Fabulous Me

Yes, you are famulous! I mean fabulous! You're both! This polish is a natural matte babe, a purple in the blue-ish family and she's a real stunner. You can take her out to dinner, have a good time, or even stay home with a blankie on the couch if it's cold out.
And if you don't want to let anybody mattify your shine, you're always free to add a top coat! I have to say I am a BIG fan of this polish with a top coat, it brings out the shine and even a tiny little hint of what looks like holo! I can't be the only one seeing that!
With top coat, in its shiny state, Fabulous Me gets a tad darker and definitely deeper. The shine brought some sparkly friends along! But however you want to wear it, you can't go wrong with this polish. I thought I would never be able to reach opacity when I was done with the first coat, but turns out I did get full coverage when the third coat rolled around. It builds very fast and drying time is very limited, so the three coats didn't bother me one bit!
I'm A Star

Again, you have to agree with this! Say it to yourself. Say it again. Do you know that feeling when you're listening to music and you feel like you're in a music video? Hold on to that! Grab that feeling with both hands and never let go. You are important, you have the right to feel good! You're a freaking star, baby!
Sooo yeah, we have another crelly in the house! This is two coats you're seeing here and a third will get rid of any visible nail line. Now I have to mention that I have an exceptionally visible nail line, even monkey fur wouldn't be able to cover it up. I don't know why I thought of monkey fur, but I did. So there.

Perfectly in line with the name of this polish, ofcourse there's gold holo stars in the mix, as well as gold holo hex glitters. Have I mentioned my love for holo glitters? And the stars came out SO easily! I wore it for a day and one of the stars started to stick out a bit, so be sure to add a good top coat!
Both these crellies will need a bit more time to dry compared to the other two polishes. It's I would recommend thin coats to make it easier on you, and on the polish, and you'll both be shining in no time!
Refuse To Sink

Ahhh more glitter! It's suspended in a clear base so I'm showing it over Fabulous Me, because the purple just fits in so nicely with these glitters.

No matter how hard things get, you won't let it get you down! Those who swim against the current stay afloat, those who don't, drift off. And I always like to keep this as a mantra, no clue where I got it from: "This too shall pass." I often employ it when trying to get through something really bad, because it is true... when you feel like you might be dying, or like you'll never get through it, there will come a day when it's a little bit less dark, a little bit less heavy. Not saying it goes away completely, but it will get better.

Ahhh okay, on to something lighter! *tour guide voice* If you look to your right, you will see the many different glitters in this polish. We can see neon pink squares, pink, purple and white hex glitter, and the same hex glitters but in teenie weenie baby size, aren't they cute? Oh there are black hex glitters too, as well as some purple circles! And here and there you might be able to spot one of the white donut glitters. They aren't shy and will come out of their own accord (meaning no fishing for glitter).

Application was easy with this one! I didn't exactly apply one smooth coat, some placement was need to get nice even coverage, but with my dabbing came no bubbles, and it still dried fast. Very nice!
And so, this brings us to the end of this review already. Disappointed faces all around. But we all go home with a prize: yourself! After all, this collection is all about you :D So treat yourself so something nice, and visit the gift shop on your way out. You can find lots of goodies on the Indie Polish website! And if you don't feel like stopping there, you will certainly want to follow Tanya and her brand on Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest and Tumblr!

Big hug to Tanya for letting me share these with you, and ofcourse big hug to all of you guys for reading and looking and liking and... sharing? Thanks!!!

I received all of the polishes in this article as a press sample for an honest review. Opinions expressed are 100% my own and not influenced in any way other than the quality of the product itself.
