Northern lights glow in the dark nail art + video tutorial!

Heya! Who's in the mood for more glow in the dark nail art? ME! I had a bottle of Essie Aruba Blue that the lovely Janet from 365nailart.com sent me to make pretty nail art with. It's up to you to decide if I did that right! Click to see to see more :D

Ahhhh glooooow in the dark! I used Essie Aruba Blue for the background color, and then I one stroked (yes, I just made that a verb) the lights on my nails using the same Essie polish and Serum No. 5 Blue Blazes. Then I added the green highlights using the Essie polish again, and then instead of blue, I used Serum No. 5 Krypton-brite. If you are interested in learning more about the one stroke technique, I have a tutorial on the basics especially for you!

I got my Serum No. 5 polishes from Hypnotic Polish, it's a stockist here in the Netherlands and the service is just impeccable!
The little trees were painted with black acrylic paint. They're really easy to make, all you do is paint vertical lines in different 'heights', then paint small horizontal lines on top of those, making the branches. It will look like pine trees!!

And there's only a few days left in the OPI CocaCola giveaway that 365nailart.com and I are hosting, so if you haven't entered yet, you still have a shot!

I received Essie Aruba Blue as a press sample to make nail art with. Opinions expressed are 100% my own and not influenced in any way other than the quality of the product itself.
