One stroke snake skin nail art with video tutorial!

Good day y'all! Isn't it about time for some more one stroke nail art? I thought I'd do something a little bit different, so I made these snake skin nails. You can also see them as wicker baskets, the look loans itself for that as well. But the colors just scream snake to me! Click to see my video tutorial!

I used Essie Crocadilly for the base color (I got this from 365nailart.com) and it was sort of my inspiration. Well, the color inspired me for the snake element, but the general idea came from me redoing my Northern Lights nail art on a friend's nails. I saw all of the strokes together on the paper and it just hit me: this HAS to be usable for some nail art!

This is so super easy, all you have to do is load your flat brush (I got mine from eBay) with two colors of acrylic paint for the one stroke technique, and then make little 'boxes' all over the nail, as shown in the video. Repeat each box for more opacity. Check out my one stroke tutorial to learn the basics!

You can play with the colors to make other 'looks', or use it as a background for some other art! I hope you like it :D
