Freehand ladybug nail art

What's the only bug not allowed in the men's room? A lady bug!! Haha!! All joking aside, this was a nice, fast nail art design to paint. I recorded a video tutorial for it! Click to see more!

These ladybugs were really easy to paint, it only took about 10 minutes per bug. They were painted with acrylic paint and my Roubloff 00 detail brush.

Since 1997, the ladybug has been a symbol in the Netherlands against senseless violence. I think it still suits its purpose nowadays.
I used SuperChic Lacquer Live Wire, Gothic Gala Lacquers Lili St. Cyr & SuperChic Lacquer No Rest For The Wicked for the base gradient.

I didn't include the gradient in the tutorial because pretty much every gradient works the same way. You'll want to watch my ultimate tutorial for making the perfect smooth gradient. It tackles all the big (and small) issues when it comes to perfecting your gradients!

I received Gothic Gala Lacquers Lili St. Cyr & SuperChic Lacquer Live Wire as a press sample. Opinions expressed are 100% my own and not influenced in any way other than the quality of the product itself.
