Freehand strawberry bunny nail art

For this nail art design, I used a fun freehand technique that I used 2 years ago when I was just starting to learn how to paint. How, you ask? It uses my phone, and a plastic bag. Come find out!

The video tutorial will tell you all you need to know. This decal technique is perfect for when you're having trouble getting the proportions & placement right. It can be a great help in learning freehand! The bunny in the tutorial looks hella crooked btw, it was SO hard to repeat the process with a camera 3 inches away from my nail!

I used to have a lot of trouble smoothing out the decal on the nail, it would wrinkle and even tear or smoosh. This time I tried using the silicone brushes I got from PurJoi Nail Studio and it worked like a charm, just like they did wonders for applying nail foil the other day!
The strawberries were painted straight onto the base, also using acrylic paint and my Roubloff 00 detail brush. I've seen other nail artists do fruit before and it always looks SO yummy! I don't know why I didn't paint any fresh fruit before!
The base color is Color Club Spin The Bottle and let me just tell you, I did NOT enjoy this polish. It didn't play nice. It's thick, hard to apply and it won't dry. Like, ever.

I noticed this with the other polish I have from the Matte Rouge collection too. Color Club is great at making polish but with this one they kinda missed the mark.

I received Color Club Spin The Bottle & PurJoi Silicone brushes as a press sample. Opinions expressed are 100% my own and not influenced in any way other than the quality of the product itself.
