Fantasy garden nail art

Welcome to my fantasy garden, where every flower glows in the dark and it always smells nice :) And I'll tell you exactly how to create your own! Click to see more!

The gloooow!!! I definitely love the way they look in the dark, maybe even more than the light. They look magical, don't they?

The flowers are made of metal paper. I don't know exactly what it is, I found a scrap of it in the craft room, it's like paper in the middle but the outer layers are metal. I at least know it's thicker than aluminum foil!
I painted the metal paper with two coats of Serum No. 5 Awesome Blossom, Laven-Daringly Bright, Globalt Blue, Kiwi Glow Now?, Solar Power & Orange You Sunny, let it dry thoroughly and punched out flower shapes with a hole punch.

I used a small screwdriver to carefully bend the petals of the resulting flowers. I used top coat and a dotting tool to attach a rhinestone to the center of each flower, and used my dotting tol and top coat again to attach the flowers to my nail!
The base is Picture Polish Lakodom, with a nice coat of SuperChic Lacquer Crown Jewels of Enchantment on top of that. I was very conflicted about what color to use for the base, and I'm still not sure I made the right choice... but this is what it is.

I received SuperChic Lacquer Crown Jewels of Enchantment and Serum No. 5 Globalt Blue & Kiwi Glow Now? as a press sample. I bought Serum No. 5 Awesome Blossom, Laven-Daringly Bright, Solar Power & Orange You Sunny with my own money. Opinions expressed are 100% my own and not influenced in any way other than the quality of the product itself.
