Aquarelle magnolia flowers inspired by Lucy's Stash

Hello my lovelies! It's prettiness time again, and today I want to show you this mani that was inspired by Lucy's Stash. She used aquarelle paint to draw magnolia flowers on her beautiful nails, and since I don't have aquarelle supplies, I used acrylic paint. Click to see more pictures!

This was actually a lot of fun to do because I had an example picture and was going for a near-perfect copy. Okay, so it didn't turn out as perfect as I'd hoped, but I like my colors better actually. I've always been crazy about green/pink color combos!!! Like, truly craaazy!

Lucy's technique is way better than mine <3 Still, I'm really proud of how it turned out because I've been told all my life that I can't draw. Seriously, not joking over here. My brother was always way better at drawing than me so I didn't even try anymore.

Nail art has gotten me to try things I'm afraid of, things I wouldn't normally try out of fear of looking like an ass. Turns out, I make a pretty nice ass! Or so I hope... Please don't heckle me... :-p
