Stripey nail art design with glitter orbs

Today's design is inspired by Nailuminium. I saw this design of hers and I love it, and I kept wondering what it would look like with a little bit of glitter. So that's what I made! Click to see more, plus a video tutorial!

My base is OPI Don't Pretzel My Buttons and I used striping tape from eBay and Picture Polish Black to make the stripes. I added grey blobs of acrylic paint, 'taped' them off with Liquid Palisade by Kiesque. The glitter is China Glaze Glistening Snow and Digital Nails Supernova.

I added color on top using the OPI sheer tints and Dance Legend Levitan & Tiziano, painted the outline with black acrylic paint and sealed it all in with HK Girl top coat.

I think it looks rather cool, kind of like a colorful prison jumpsuit. I know they're black & white but whatever. I like it!

And you can't imagine how hard it is to hold all of these bottles at the same time, while keeping my fingers in the right position AND angling my hand towards the light and still making sure I'm in frame!

I received Digital Nails Supernova as a press sample to make nail art with. Opinions expressed are 100% my own and not influenced in any way other than the quality of the product itself.
