Circuit board nail art

Why did the capacitor kiss the diode? He just couldn't resistor XD

The base is Masura Sky Gardens that I reviewed a while ago. I used Madam Glam Perfect Black to paint the circuit board design, all of it, and then added some Green Menace & Silver Star chrome powders from Mitty for different parts of the design.

Be careful not to touch! This design is eeeeeelectric! High voltage!

I received Masura Sky Gardens, Madam Glam Perfect Black & Mitty powders as a press sample. Opinions expressed are 100% my own and not influenced in any way other than the quality of the product itself.

Gold leaf nail art

My heart is still in denial but... it's fall. Fall is here. I love the autumnal season for its splendid colors and warm clothing (Boots!! Hats!!!), though it also means the end of summer.

And so with this gold leaf (hehe, get it?) design, we bid farewell to summer and make our way into the final quarter of the year. Wow I'm feeling poetic tonight!

I used Artistic Nail Design Torque It! for my base, I love this deep dark color. Also, it makes my skin stand out nicely in a vampiric shade ;-)

Since the polishes from Artistic Nail Design come in both a regular polish and gel version, I used the gel polish of Torque It! to paint a leaf design, cured it, and added some Mitty Gold Bullion powder on top. Added some white acrylic paint stripes aaaaand done!

Wedding monarch nail art

Today's post is a special one, because my friend Marlein is getting married tomorrow! I want to wish her and her hubby-to-be an awesome life together :D

The base is KB Shimmer Saved by the Shell that I got from Color4Nails, and I wasn't sure if I would like the color. At first I didn't like it on its own, but it compliments the design perfectly and doesn't overpower it :)

I painted the monarch butterfly using acrylic paint and my new Gamax 00 Kolinsky brush that I got from my awesome friend @lu_letsplayanailgame! The golden rings were made by first painting them with Madam Glam Perfect Black, and then applying some Gold Bullion powder over it from Mitty.

I received KB Shimmer Saved by the Shell and Mitty Gold Bullion powder as a press sample. Opinions expressed are 100% my own and not influenced in any way other than the quality of the product itself.

Other half nail art for Valentine's Day

You know that feeling when you've found your soulmate and it's like looking into a mirror? .......nah, neither do I ;-)

The base is Artistic Nail Design Put Your Work Boots On and it's a very deep, dusty purple with pink/purple shimmer. I also used mirror powder from Nailland Hungary, and Gold Bullion powder from Mitty for the frame of the mirror.

I painted the text & the people with white acrylic paint, and added hearts using Artistic Nail Design Glammed Up Grunge!

I'm single but still a hopeless romantic at heart. So I'm hoping for a warm, sweet, fluffy Valentine's Day for all of you!

I received Artistic Nail Design Put Your Work Boots On & Glammed Up Grunge, Nailland Hungary mirror powder and Gold Bullion powder from Mitty as a press sample. Opinions expressed are 100% my own and not influenced in any way other than the quality of the product itself.

'Tis the season nail art for Christmas

"Tis the season to be jolly!" thought the little snowman, as he planted a wide smile on his frozen face!

I've been editing a friend's book this week so I have storytelling on my mind. Let me tell you about the origin story of this nail art! First, there was a black coat of polish, and a pattern made with black one step gel polish. Then, a freaky lady who is too obsessed with her nails applied a magical powder called Silver Star by Mitty over it, It stuck and made a wonderous metallic relief!

Now dear readers, you might want to know that the blue glitter polish is Swan Lake by Masura and I have reviewed it here.

The little happy snowman came into creation with acrylic paint, a brush from the Winstonia Rose Noire brush set, and a whiff of magic!

Happy Christmas penguin nail art

It's here! My first Christmas design! Piggie has dressed up for the occasion, he's in a festive mood :D

The base for this nail art is not a duochrome like you might think! I used two chrome powders from Mitty, named Blue Bullet and Pearly Pink. I applied them over a black base but these are very versatile and will give a variety of effects over different colors. I made a sort of gradient with the two pigment powders, applying Pearly Pink to the top of the nail, Blue Bullet to the bottom, and I mixed up some powder before adding that to the middle part.

I painted the snowflakes with acrylic paint and my Candy 00 brush from Mitty. The little penguin friend was made using with a brush from the Winstonia Rose Noire brush set.
It's a miracle I ever even got this nail art done! I looked up what kind of eyes a penguin has and got caught up watching Happy Feet videos on YouTube. Aaand then I watched both movies on Netflix while painting these nails. My favorite characters are Ramon (seriously, who doesn't love that shorty) and Will & Bill the krill!

I received all of the polishes in this article as a press sample. Opinions expressed are 100% my own and not influenced in any way other than the quality of the product itself.

Floating leaves nail art

I'm leaf-ing! Do not fall-ow me! Or, you know... do.

The tiny little mouse is inspired by @davidzinn, but ofcourse it looks way different when it's a million times smaller... I really love his style, it's so quirky and unlike anything else!

I painted the mouse and the leaves and everything with acrylic paint, the normal kind you get at the craft store, and my Mitty Peachy 000 and Candy 00 brushes.
This background polish is Masura Lighthouse Golden Beam and it's a magnetic polish, although to be honest I like it a lot more without the magnetic effect. There are these really gorgeous blue/purplish micro flakies, but they kind of get hidden when I use a magnet. I like this lighter shade better!

Adorable pumpkin mouse nail art

What's a mousematician's favorite dessert in fall?
.... pumpkin pi!!

The base polish is SuperChic Lacquer Wonderwall, from the Urban Dictionary collection. If you haven't seen my video for this collection yet, then it's storytime! Two thin coats are enough for this stunner to be fully opaque and sparkling with holo!

I painted our mousey friend and his pumpkins with my super tiny Peachy 000 and Candy 00 brushes from Mitty. The Candy 00 is quickly turning into one of my favorite brushes for thin, long lines because it just works SO well!
