Royal peacock nail art

I was lucky enough to see a male peacock from up close recently... a little *too* close, I had to step aside while he shook his feathers and ran after his ladyfriend!

My greyish-with-a-purple-gleam base polish is A England Carnation Lily Lily Rose that I got from Color4Nails. It's the perfect backdrop for my peacock! I painted him with acrylic paint and added a twist with some Moyra Glitter Shine powder no. 26, which is a really fine royal blue glitter that I got from Nailland Hungary.

I was hesitant at first and took pictures before adding the glitter, but it was SO worth it because it adds so much depth and sparkle to my peacock!

Matchy matchy nail art

Nail art inspired by wrapping paper! Because inspiration really is everywhere :)

The beautiful magenta base is Madam Glam Sangria, and I usually don't do this, but.... I stamped. Yes I did :-p The good folks at Nailland Hungary were nice enough to send me a bottle of Moyra foil polish for stamping and I couldn't let them down!! This stamping polish is made to be used with foils and pigment powders.

Soooo I rubbed some Mitty Gold Bullion powder on it, only it didn't exactly turn out gold because the stamping polish I used is silver. It stamps smoothly even for someone like me who's not very practiced at stamping, but I'd definitely recommend getting the black version for use with powders ;-) The plate I used is the Fun 16 from Fab Ur Nails, I got this from a friend and this particular image really came close to the wrapping paper!

Enchanted night nail art

I wish I was a unicorn... so I could stab people with my head :-p

I used Serum No. 5 Awesome Blossom, Laven-daringly Bright and Wisteria-ously Bright for the base and added some Moyra No. 2 Diamond Shine to a wet top coat. This is really fine glitter that I got from Nailland Hungary and it shows the base color through the glitter. It has a blue shine and I really want to try it over black!!

The enchanted night lights up, revealing the silhouettes of our magical creatures <3 Purple glow is notoriously un-bright (yes I just invented that) but I was lucky to capture it! Maybe unicorns and fairies really do bring good luck!

Holo diamond dress nail art

Isn't her dress looking faaaaabulous? I would love to have one of those! And her muscular shoulders too XD

The gorgeous blue base is a mattified Picture Polish beauty called Blue (how fitting!) that I got from Color4Nails, I used the OPI matte top coat over it. The lady was painted with acrylic paint!

Aaaaand now for the kicker, the dress... ahhh that dress! I just applied some SuperChic Lacquer Marvel Liquid Macro top coat and POOF dipped my wet nail into the Galaxy Holo Pigment from Nailland Hungary! Instant sparkles!! Until May 31st, feel free to use the code NLPL10 for 10% off your order (not an affiliate code) to celebrate my 5th blogiversary!!

Btw she did have a face.... I painted it after applying top coat, was actually kind of okay with how it turned out, then forgot to top coat again and went to wash my hands vigorously to get the holo dust off.... Bye bye face XD I actually saw it wash away under the tap water and cursed myself for it!!

Other half nail art for Valentine's Day

You know that feeling when you've found your soulmate and it's like looking into a mirror? .......nah, neither do I ;-)

The base is Artistic Nail Design Put Your Work Boots On and it's a very deep, dusty purple with pink/purple shimmer. I also used mirror powder from Nailland Hungary, and Gold Bullion powder from Mitty for the frame of the mirror.

I painted the text & the people with white acrylic paint, and added hearts using Artistic Nail Design Glammed Up Grunge!

I'm single but still a hopeless romantic at heart. So I'm hoping for a warm, sweet, fluffy Valentine's Day for all of you!

Hot lips nail art for Valentine's Day

Horror or romance? These lips were supposed to look sexy, but apparently they look more scared than anything else. But no matter how you interpret them, I hope this nail art design appeals to you!

I used ILNP Stopping Traffic (that I got from Nailland Hungary) on all the nails, and Picture Polish Cherish on the accent nail. The lips are painted with acrylic paint and my Fine Lines & Berry Wine brush sets from Winstonia. There's just a week left to use my discount code PIGGIE for 10% off your order! Sexy male torso nail art

Ahhh... somebody hand me a bucket to drool in!

The green base is Colors by Llarowe The New Nude, which is a Nailland Hungary exclusive and also the inspiration for the nail art!

I painted the sexy dude with acrylic paint and my Fine Lines brush set from Winstonia.

But wow... from up close, it kind of looks like a hack job. Like somebody let their chisel slip :-p

The Stargazer nail art inspired by @lespoulesaussisontvernies

I LOVE this contrast between the bright yellows & oranges of the planet, and the deep blue sparkles of the base polish! It's entirely inspired by @lespoulesaussisontvernies and it's well worth taking a look at her Instagram page for some gorgeous nail pics!

The base polish is Cupcake Polish Let Your Gourd Down, that I got from Nailland Hungary. I posted my swatches and review of this polish just 10 days ago and it's soooo delicious!

I painted the design with acrylic paint and my Winstonia Fine Lines brush set, they are quickly becoming my favorite brushes for being so versatile!
