Fuzzy animal print nail art

Aaaaahahaha this has me giggling!! And it's totally hand washing safe ;-)

I used acrylic paint to lay down the basic design of the prints in the right colors. Then I went over the prints with a gel top coat, sprinkled flocking powder on top and cured it under a UV light. then all that's left is removing the excess and voila!

It feels a bit weird at first, bristly, but you get used to it fast and it holds up nicely during daily wear :) Plus I giggle every time I look at my hands!

Pool table nail art

Whaddaya do when it gets darn cold? You stay indoors and play pool is what you do! Teeny tiny pool as the case may be :-p

I used some green flocking powder for the 'table', it's so fluffy! I had these small plastic beads that worked amazingly well for the pool balls, I just had to paint them here and there. Aaaaand the cue is made from a wooden cocktail pick that I painted. Seems easy enough and yet the balls kept escaping! XD

Little fuzzies nail art

Imagine having no arms & no legs and bouncing everywhere, but at least you'd have adorable little ears! That's pretty much how these little fuzzies work. Can you think of a funny name for their species? Click to see more!

Fuzzy pink teddy bear nail art

Bear hugs for all of you!!! My bestest of nail friends Marlein made a little bear like this a while ago and I thought it was SO adorable! I had to make a little bear of my own, only... his head turned out kind of pointy! We still love people with pointy heads though so why not bears ;-) Click to see more!

Sugar spun on top of flocking powder nail art

Hey girls! By now, you know about my need for nail experiments. So I was wondering, how would the babies look if a sugar spun mani and a flocking powder mani got together? Here they are! Click to see the rest of the pics, plus a video tutorial!

Little monsters on my nails

Hi girls! Do you like googly eyes? I used to stick those on everything when I was in school! Now I made some nail art with them, check it out!

I hand painted the mouths and teeth with a small brush. I do all my art work with polish, not acrylic paint, but it's harder to work with and causes some streaking every now and again.

I also used some flocking powder on my accent nail to make the monster look all fuzzy. Isn't he a cutie? The fuzz came off quickly and there were only a few patches of purple left after a couple of hours. The eyes didn't have a topcoat over them, just a tiny dot of polish to glue them to the nail, but I must say they stayed on pretty well!
