Easy glitter removal

You might have seen this on other blogs (which is where I got it from), but if you haven't, read this article well because it might save your life one day. Or maybe just your nails and your precious time.

I'm going to tell you how to remove those pesky glitter polishes from your nails without getting glitter all over your fingers.

These are the things you need:

- Your favorite nail polish remover
- Tin foil (aluminum foil)
- Cotton pads

You can use any kind of remover for this. I know some people like to use pure acetone but for me, it works fine using either remover with or without acetone. It just takes a little bit longer.

I like to cut my cotton pads into four parts. You just don't need a whole pad for a nail, that would just make a mess. Dip your quarter pad into your remover and place it on the nail. Tear off a piece of foil and wrap your nail with the pad in the foil. Do this to each nail and wait a while. It looks ridiculous and science fiction-y but it works great.

After a minute or ten to fifteen, take off the foil and you might want to sweep from cuticle to nail tip when you remove this. I've noticed that this helps a bit extra. You will see your whole glitter design left in the cotton pad and not on your nail. There may be some spots of color left in the rims of your nail but these can easily be cleaned off with a cotton swab dipped in remover.

This is not one of my own ideas, I got this from other bloggers. I just thought I'd show you my way of using this technique.
