Christmas holly nail art

Merry Christmas to all of you!!! I hope you're having a great time with family, friends, fur babies or other loved ones :) To those of you who don't celebrate Christmas: happy random Thursday! This mani is all I had time for but it's sparkly and festive and really easy to paint! Click to see more!

The gorgeous glitter is Digital Nails Solar Flare, it's a gold holo micro glitter packed polish and it's sooooo sparkly!!! I painted the rest with acrylic paint and my Basic One Gold detail brush from Christrio Scotland. I know I always use the same brush but what can I say, I'm loyal!
These were supposed to be bestie triplet nails but both my partners in crime chickened out so here I am, all by my lonesome!!! I like them anyways, I never have the guts to not use a base color so I'm thankful for being pulled out of my comfort zone!

The holly was really easy to paint: I made the basic shape in a medium green, added some darker green lines on the bottom (shaded side) of the leaves and mixed a little bit of white with the green to make a lighter shade, and added those lines at the top. And poof, suddenly your holly has depth!

For the berries, I made dark red dots, put bright red dots on top of that and I added highlights by mixing a little bit of white in the red and dotted that on as well.

Okay, that's it for today!!! Everyone be safe, be happy and don't worry about tomorrow, it's not healthy :-p

I received Digital Nails Solar Flare as a press sample to make nail art with. Opinions expressed are 100% my own and not influenced in any way other than the quality of the product itself.
