Christmas trees nail art

Hey there! Time for something fun! With everybody posting their Christmas trees EVERYWHERE, I thought I'd give into the cliche and show you mine. The gorgeous deep red base polish is Gothic Gala Lacquers Vallis Sanguine, it's one of my favorites and absolutely perfect for the season!! Click to see more!

I'm having a little bit of an uninspired and un-energetic time so you'll have to be satisfied with whatever I throw at you :) The Christmas trees were quick and easy, but that makes it easier for you guys to recreate them, right?

The polish I sponged on top of Vallis Sanguine is Orly Rage, it's like a rose gold metallic polish. I painted the trees with acrylic paint and my Basic Gold One detail brush from Christrio Scotland and I topped it all off with HK Girl top coat from Glisten&Glow.
Tutorial time! Apply your base color and let it dry thoroughly. Put some metallic colored polish on a small piece of sponge, and dab it on your nail starting at the tip and going up.

First you'll want to paint the basic shape of the trees in one color. Set up the stem and make a sweeping motion going from the stem outward. The next part is basically just winging it: paint some accents in another color and add baubles and stars. When you think it looks good, top coat and you're done!

I received Gothic Gala Lacquers Vallis Sanguine as a press sample for an honest review. Opinions expressed are 100% my own and not influenced in any way other than the quality of the product itself.
