Guest post by @creatinails: Easy nail art with gel pens!

Hey hey my sweets! We've come to the last of the guest posts already, but we're gonna go out with a bang. Today, I have for you... the amazing... the lovely.... the talented.... Marlein from @creatinails!!! WOOO!!! Click here to see her how-to!

Hello hello lovely people all over the world!
The lovely and very talented Narmai, who also happens to be my bestest nail friend, asked me to do a guest post for her blog. She even picked out the mani and everything! Well actually, I did a mani using ‘something new’ and she asked me to do a blogpost about them. Are you curious yet as to what ‘something new’ I used? Okay, well here it is: gel pens!

I bought some colorful gel pens at a local toy store (Bart Smit, for mah Dutch ladies out there) and made this colorful and fun mani :D

I painted a nude base color (Iced Latte, by Essence) and mattified that with Essie Matte About You. If you use a matte topcoat before painting on with gel pens (or acrylic paint for that matter) the paint just sticks to the nail a lot better. When that was completely dry, I just started doodling on them with my TOPModel neon gel pens, from the brand ‘Depesche’. I topped it all off with a coat of fast drying topcoat. No smudging! Awesome!

Sooo that was it! My first blog post ever! Thank you for reading and I hope you have a great day!
