Glowing flowing flurple... uhhh purple flowers nail art

How about some glowing flowing flurple... uhhhh purple flowers? Boy do I love my glows... There's just something about a mani that lights up in the dark, like it has a secret life that you can't see in the light. I've also made a video tutorial for you guys. Click to see more!

Look. At. That. GLOW!!!! This is just in the shade and it's already ridiculously bright. Okay I charged it with a UV flashlight first. With brand spankin' new batteries in it. I do love fresh batteries in my UV lights, they work SO well.
The perfect nude base I used is two coats of Serum No. 5 Highlight, from the new SS15 Part 1 collection. This collection consists of a set of shimmery flaky sheer polishes that glow in the dark, right up my alley!

I also used Serum No. 5 Ultra Violet & Laven-daringly Bright from last year's collection, and Wisteria-ously Bright & Kiwi Glow Now? from the SS15 Part 2 collection that will be available for pre-order in June. That's only a little while!
I outlined the flowers and leaves with acrylic paint and added some details. I couldn't paint too much depth & detail because it would have obscured the glow and I wanted it to be fully visible and glowy.

I like this look! I don't usually do flowers but I thought this would be a fun way to display the new colors and the glow, and the nude base just makes it all look so delicate and girly. I love it!

I received Serum No. 5 Highlight, Kiwi Glow Now & Wisteria-ously Bright as a press sample to make nail art with. Laven-daringly Bright & Ultra Violet were bought using my own money. Opinions expressed are 100% my own and not influenced in any way other than the quality of the product itself.
