View from a tropical beach, freehand nail art

Man oh man, the weather is GORGEOUS here today! I spent some time lounging on the grass, enjoying the sun, and it felt like a tropical vacation. So here's some tropical nail art to go with it! Come hang out with me in my nails! I have a video tutorial too, it's not that hard, so click to see more!

I always use a white base for these kinds of designs, OPI Alpine Snow. Sometimes I'll use a matte top coat on top of it to make it easier to paint on, but not always. It depends on what I want to paint and also it's a kind of feeling.

I painted all of this with acrylic paint (the regular craft kind that you can buy at any craft shop), and my Basic One Gold detail brush from Christrio Scotland.
My trusty HK Girl top coat from Glisten&Glow keeps my painting safe and makes it super shiny! I swear, this stuff is pure magic in a bottle. Dries in a jiffy and becomes rock hard, nothing can scratch it. No wonder I have a big 2.5oz/74ml bottle! I buy my HK girl from Hypnotic Polish by the way.
